licensure program is designed for professionals with degrees in areas

- Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education (MAT) offers
39-42 semester hours leading to the MAT degree with licensure
in elementary education. This program is designed for professionals
with degrees in areas other than education.
Master of Arts in Education
Stay ahead of the
education curve by earning a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd).
Designed for today's teachers, Wingate University's unique program is
interactive and portfolio-based. Graduates are prepared to assume major
roles in curriculum and instruction planning, implementation and
evaluation for all students.
The Thayer School of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of
Teacher Education, the North Carolina Dept. of Public Instruction
and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Tuition:$630 per 3-credit
